With the guidance of the therapist, the patient can be shown that the dreaded situation not so threatening and may develop skills. This process of gradually increasing the exposure of a series of stimuli over the increase in skills of patients and patients learn how to handle the situation.
CBT can be done individually and can also be done in groups, with doing it on people with similar problems. Participants is also often given homework in order to accomplish in therapy sessions.

Self-Help or Support Groups

Sufferers of anxiety disorders can get help by joining communities and vent or share the problems and achievements with others. In this era, to join in the communities is not difficult. Sufferers can join social networking groups or chat groups on internet. However to do this must be carefully because on the internet usually people don't know each other and meet even the use of false identities are not rare. For it is more worthwhile to talk privately with a trusted friend.

Stress Management Techniques and Meditation

Stress management techniques and meditation can help sufferers of social anxiety to calm themselves. Exercises such as aerobics gymnastics does have a calming effect but it seems less suitable for anxiety disorder treatment.

Medication/The Use of Drug

The drug could eliminate anxiety disorder symptoms but not cure it. And to use the drug as a anxiety disorder treatment, of course should be based on the prescription of a medical doctor or psychiatrist. Must know, there are some drugs that are just as effective if used regularly and if the consumption of drugs is stopped then the symptoms of anxiety disorders can relapse again.
